The Auriga Academy Trust aims to provide outstanding special needs provision for the local community. The Trust works in a supportive partnership with local special schools with each school maintaining its unique identity and ethos. The Auriga Academy Trust is founded on the vision that, through working together, we can provide outstanding learning experiences for the pupils and students in our communities. Our pupils are at the heart of our vision and we believe that, by investing in our staff and working as a team, together we can make a difference.
Capella House School is a co-educational special school for 72 pupils aged 4 to 16. The School specialises in children whose primary or main presenting needs relate to difficulties with speech, language and communication. The school is located over 2 campuses, primary and secondary, both based in Twickenham. Our staff brings a wealth of experience and through our academic, social, and therapeutic curricula, supportive learning for all. With the skills, knowledge and resilience learned over their time at Capella House School, our students will leave to play a meaningful part in society.
Clarendon School is a co-educational special school for 140 pupils aged 4 to 16 with moderate learning difficulties, many of whom have additional complex needs, including autism. The school is located over 2 campuses, primary and secondary, based in Hampton and Twickenham respectively. The school also manages an offsite centre, The Gateway, which is for 20 pupils aged 11 to 16 and is co-located with Twickenham Academy. Our team work together to provide the best education and pastoral care to ensure that Clarendon is a place of learning for everyone. Our aim is to support our students to not only achieve academic excellence, but also greater independence and social growth.
Strathmore School is a co-educational special school for children and young people aged 4 to 19 with severe and complex learning difficulties, including those with an additional diagnosis of autism and/or physical/sensory disabilities. Strathmore is based in purpose-built accommodation co-located with local, inclusive minded mainstream schools (based across four campuses). Our dedicated team have high expectations of our learners, and we have the highest expectations of ourselves. Our ‘small schools’ and small class sizes ensure that all learners benefit from a consistent and supportive approach. Our constant focus is what will make the biggest impact for the individual learner. We want our students to enjoy learning, be challenged, achieve and fulfil their full potential.
